A quick tour of Ompath Study: free MBChB study notes, MCQ banks, flashcards, timed exams and past papers for students across Kenya and East Africa.
Welcome to Ompath Study — What We Offer and Why We Built It A quick tour of the platform, for anyone wondering what Ompath Study actually is. --- If you've landed here searching for notes before a CAT, or you've been sent a link by a classmate, here's the short version: Ompath Study is a free study platform built for MBChB and health-science students across Kenya and East Africa — organised the way your syllabus is actually structured, by year, semester and unit, so you can find what you need in one click instead of digging through group chats and scattered PDFs. What you'll find here Study notes, by unit. High-yield notes compiled from real lectures, past papers and CATs, sorted into the year and unit they belong to — from Year 1 Anatomy and Physiology through Year 3 pathology systems and beyond. MCQ banks. Clinical vignette–style multiple choice questions to test recall the way exams actually ask it, not just flashcard-style definitions. Flashcards. Rapid-recall decks for the facts you need cold before a ward round or a spot exam — dates, values, classifications, the things that don't survive cramming. Timed exams and past papers. Real CATs and past papers, compiled and organised so you can practise under exam conditions rather than just reading passively. Stories. A space for the human side of med school — reflections, essays and personal accounts from students going through the same thing you are, submitted by the community. Why it's free Medical school is expensive enough. Every note, MCQ set, flashcard deck and past paper on Ompath Study is free to use — no paywall standing between you and revision. The goal has always been to make studying medicine a little easier, a little cheaper, and a lot less lonely. Who's behind it Ompath Study was built by Abongo Davis , a medical student and self-taught web developer, out of the same frustration every student has felt at 1 a.m. before an exam: why is nothing organised in one place? You can read more about the story behind it on the $1.
